The crew were paged at about 17.19 the lifeboat launched at 17.27 to go to a position from 52 39 N 001 44.5 E to 52 – 42 N 001 45.0E to search for a missing swimmer. Simultaneously the beach crew carried out a beach search. At 18.52 the search was called off and the lifeboat returned to station at 19.16.
